And since the IGAN frame is fixed to the top frame of the generator, so the lifted handle might hit the IGAN frame. Therefore, we do not recommend lifting the handle directly after assembly. You can move the generator to where it's needed and then put the cover on. I use bungy cords to keep it from blowing away.

I have not noticed a sound level reduction. But works great in protecting your generator from the weather. When running the generator you lift up the exhaust side of the cover with the built in clips to allow exhaust to exit freely. That's where the noise comes from.
